Most adults who missed school here never got a second chance. Limited infrastructure, cost, and the demands of farming and family have kept literacy out of reach for a generation of parents in Kagadi District.
Maisha runs adult literacy classes in the same communities we already serve — small groups, taught by local instructors, built around the realities of people who are also running households and farms. Learners leave able to read a contract, write a letter, and manage basic accounts, and many go on to support their own children's schoolwork for the first time.
